Although the majority of the users on ParadiseGaming properly doesn't play Nuclear Dawn (nor know of it), we'd like to inform that we've got a Nuclear Dawn server up and running.
Nuclear dawn is a RTS (Real-time strategy) and FPS (First Person Shooter) game. It was originally a amateur mod, released in 2006. In April 2009 Interwave made it a commercial project.
Each team has a commander who directs his or her team from an overhead view. The rest is playing in first person, and have to capture resource points for the commander.

We've decided to disable Ajax forum post ratings, for a unknown period of time, simply because of the fact that it at times cause confusion or insults.  We'll might re-consider adding it again, in the future. But as of now, it'll stay disabled.

Last but not least, we've updated the donate page a bit - So now everything happens automatically except finding Steam ID.

We've finally got a Mumble server up and running after a long period of waiting (Because of the provider kept postponing it). You can read more about the Mumble server on the forum or by clicking here. The Murmur server is currently 100 slots, so there should be room enough for everyone. If you need help to set up Mumble or want to ask questions regarding Mumble, post them here, and we'll try assist you as good as we possible can.

We're gonna change from SQLite to MySQL on TF2 server #1 within the next a couple of days, this won't affect the majority of the users on the server, but will might affect people with [MEMBER] tag, administrators and donators for a short period of time (10 - 30 minutes). The reason for doing this is to make it easier to handle all the donators, administrators as well as normal users of the game server.

Russy LTD have for some time been talking about making the Garry's Mod server to a Nuclear Dawn server. He have contacted the game server provider (approximately 1 week ago) if he possibly could get a game swap. The provider has as well been postponing that. Let's see how much longer we'll have to wait. We'll be informing you when there's more news regarding the Garry's Mod / Nuclear Dawn server.

You can now change themes by yourself. You need to be a registered user to change theme. You can change theme under "Edit Profile". How ever, we do not recommend changing theme, since the site is not updated to look correctly with all themes.

We will ignore any reports about bugs / and themes looking wrong, if your theme is not set to default. All the current themes are GFXLight, Gallium, Gillette, Similitude07_div, Simplicity_div and Stylo (Stylo is default). So we will only help you with problems regarding Stylo.

If you think one of the other themes are worth making default, please let us know over here.

As most of you have seen, we've promised to use a fixed version of cp_orange_x3 on the #1 Team Fortress 2 server. So we decided it was time to give what we've promised! As of the 16th of August we will be using cp_orange_x3_fix_v17 on the #1 Team Fortress 2 server. Until then, please help us test and improve the quality of the map. You can find information about that here.

On a different note, we have decided to close the #2 Team Fortress 2 server, simply of the lack of people playing on it.

And while I remember, we got a Mumble server up and running soon. We'll keep you updated about that. Until then, you can read and download Mumble here.

I will now accept administrator applications for our Trouble in Terrorist Town server this is due to the recent popularity increase on the server I feel we will need more administrators for the future.

I am looking for 2/3 more administrators to qualify administrator you must:
1. Have 50 Forum posts.
2. Be an active player of the Trouble in Terrorist Town server and an active community member.
3. Get 6 points - recommendation from the community and current administrators. One recommendation count as 1 point, Super admins count as 2 points these are with other words posts from Sacrificer, Jason and Russy also any negative feedback from the community and administrators counts as -1 points.

You might have recently been playing on our Team Fortress 2 servers, and noticed it at times randomly crashes (client side crash). The reason for it is currently unknown, but it might be a client problem, since the server does not crash when people crashes (People get the error: hl2.exe has stopped working). I've contacted the game server provider, and he'll need more information before he'll contact Valve about the problem. So we're kinda stuck here. We'll keep you updated as soon as we get more information about the problem.

We're testing out name tag on one of our server (TF2 #1). If you'd like a name tag simply sign up here. All the information is there too. If you got questions regarding name tag post it in the thread.

Our Counter-Strike: Source server is down as of now, but will be up and running soon. We can currently not specify it any further.

It's some time since post ratings has gotten back, so you properly already noticed. Post ratings makes it possible to rate people's post on the forum e.g very good, disagree, funny etc..

The official Meet the Medic recently got released, as usual there followed a update with it, The Über Update. So a lot of new items and hats got released. The weapons are now tracked, so you get points on the Team Fortress 2 servers, when you kill someone with the new weapons. You can also see what hats and weapons you've traded or got from the dropping system at the stats page (including all the new ones).

We also changed theme twice in this month as well as the banner. We might make it possible to change theme later on (We need to remove old themes, bugged themes etc. before we do so though). We also added a enhanced online users panel, which you can find at the bottom of the page.

On both of the Team Fortress 2 server, we added so far one restriction for Free To Play users. They cannot spray their sprays, since there's been a increase of porn sprays sprayed ever since Team Fortress 2 went Free To Play. There might be more restrictions for Free To Play users, later on.

Update: One last thing, the second Team Fortress 2 server is now random maps. Fun maps, Capture the Flag, King of The Hill etc.. Remember you can post suggestions for maps or mods at Site/game server suggestions.

Sourcebans page is currently down due to the web provider moving to a new data center. We took this opportunity, and decided to change provider (Same place where we got the game servers running). So there might be some downtime on the forums later today or tomorrow. Hopefully this is the last time we're changing web provider. Hopefully.
As you might have noticed TF2 server #2 has changed to random maps and plugins. If you've got any ideas for the server, please post them in the "Site/game server suggestions" category.

Update: Sourcebans is up an running. If not take a look after about 1 hour of waiting. The game servers databases is also up and running again.
Second update: Main site is moved (.org) and stats page is fixed (was out to date).

As you might have noticed the website is faster, and more reliable. We've changed web provider because the old web provider was unreliable, and at times very, very slow.
We've changed web provider because a lot of people have been complaining about the loading speeds on the website.

In other news. We've also removed the encryption, since a lot of the pictures on the forum is not linking to an encrypted website, which means some browsers is saying that this site is not secure etc.. Just letting you guys know, so you're not wondering why it's gone.
E-mails for the administrators should be fixed tomorrow, hopefully.

Last thing. We might soon add the possibility to use the new replay system / record system on the Team Fortress 2 servers - If it's not taking to many resources from the server (in short, if the game server provider supports it). Today paradisegaming.org was upgraded to the latest version of PHP-Fusion. As you might have already noticed this means some addons don't work. Luckily the creators of the addons are working on making them work for the latest version.
We'll be saving all the data collected by the addons. Such as all the post ratings (all 1012 of them) all of our members have been doing.

Server admins can now get some attention on the forum. Their rank icon will show "Staff" and with some text saying "Server Admin". Donators will get a special icon too.
Also, we've changed this server to koth_badlands 24/7, but we're open for new ideas for the server, which you can post here.
Last thing. There have been a lot of people complaining about sub forum categories, so they're now removed. All threads that were in the sub forum categories are moved to the correct category.
